Virgil is a versatile and highly sought after instrumentalist and is available to conduct workshops on mandolin, guitar, fiddle, banjo, and lap dulcimer.  He has conducted workshops around the country as events such as the Sally Gap Bluegrass Festival,  the Blazin’ Bluegrass Festival, the Celebration of Traditional Music, and the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Teacher’s Workshop.
